War Memorial Philippsbourg

War memorial in the village of Philippsbourg for the inhabitants killed in several wars.

Also on the monument are 2 identical plaques (in French and English) in memory of the 275th Infantry Regiment and the 1st Battalion, 274th Infantry Regiment of the 70th Division. They defended this part of Alsace against the German Operation "Nordwind" attacks on Philippsbourg and Baerenthal on January 2-5, 1945.
