German War Cemetery Mirskiškė

In the regional park Kurtuvéna near Mirskiškė, there is a German WW1 cemetery. Here lie soldiers that were killed during the fighting for Siauliai in 1915. Although the pilars of the entry and some 60 concrete crosses are still there, the cemetery looks neglected.
It is unclear how many soldiers are buried here. The number of 'over 200' is being mentioned up to 363 German soldiers and an unknown number of Russians.
