War Memorial Zeddam

This monument commemorates fifteen war victims from the Zeddam parish. The monument was officially unveiled on May 4, 1953. The original wooden cross was replaced in 1960.

Two plaques have been placed in front of the cross. One contains the names of the victims and the place names where they died. The other one contains the poem In Memoriam, written by Mrs van Bergen-Winterink who was married to the local butcher in Zeddam. In 2021, a bell tower was placed at the monument.
