Memorial War Victims Darmstadt

At the Waldfriedhof in Darmstadt there is a memorial place where German soldiers from the First and Second World War as well as the civilian victims of the bomb attack on Darmstadt on 11 September 1944 are commemorated.

The area consists of 4 different elements:
• The civilian victims are commemorated in the inner circle
• The World War II military are buried in the second circle
• The fallen from the First World War are in the third circle
• In the middle is a memorial cross for the victims of the Brandnacht
