War Memorial Vienne

Sculpted by Claude Grange, a native of Vienne, this memorial was created in 1923 to honour the war dead of Vienne. It bears the inscriptions PASSANT SOUVIENS TOI À LA MÉMOIRE ET À LA GLOIRE DES COMBATTANTS. A DE LA GRANDE GUERRE. The names of the War dead on Vienne from the second World War have been added to a large plaque at the base of the Monument.
