Jewish Cemetery Gonnesweiler

At the edge of the Bostalsee, hidden in the edge of the forest, is a Jewish cemetery. To the left of the entrance is a sign with all the names of the Jews from the community of Nohfelden who died in World War II. To the right of this is a sign with an explanation of this Jewish cemetery, which was established in 1800.

The Jewish cemetery is part of a route along various places that are a reminder of Jewish life in the municipality of Nohfelden. For example, the route takes you past a former Jewish school, a former synagogue and another Jewish cemetery.
