Memorial Plates Slotermeer Etty Hillesum Bridge

The bridge that was formerly known as the 'Music bridge', now carries the name of Jewish writer Etty Hillesum as of 22nd January 2023.
A plaque was unveiled.

In Amsterdam, under the motto "Give Streets a Face", streets are provided with panels with the portrait of the namesake plus a short life course. In this way they want to give streets more personality. The initiator is Paul Fennis.

This is also the case in the Verzetsheldenbuurt in Slotermeer.
