Plaque Victims Second World War Ministries

Inside the building of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (Bezuidenhoutseweg 73, The Hague) there is a plaque to commemorate the victims of the ministries.
The building is shared with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

The plaque with the text ''With sadness and pride we commemorate your death'', originally hung in the hall of the former Economic Affairs building at Bezuidenhoutseweg 30. It comes from the officials of the former Ministries of Trade, Industry and Shipping and of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

With the plaque, the officials want to express their grief over the death of their fallen colleagues. And express their pride for the work of those who gave their lives for liberation."

The plaque cannot be viewed by the public, but the plaque is visible from the sidewalk through the glass window.
