Gunpowder magazines
The Kruitmagazijnen at Dalemwal 19 a and 19 b were completed at the end of the 18th century and brought into their current form around 1882. These gunpowder magazines were resistant to shelling so that the magazines and contents could be prevented from exploding.
Since the end of the 19th century they have been part of the New Dutch Waterline in Gorkum. Added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021
