On Monday 3 September 2007, the memorial stone for the French crew (Jean Lux, Paul Colpin and Robert Sacquepée) who crashed on 13 May 1940 was inaugurated at the Tereken cemetery in Sint-Niklaas.
The memorial stone stands next to the final resting place of the crew of the Lancaster LL851 BQ-V of 550 Sqn.

The Potez 63-11 (689) of the l'Armée de l'Air Groupe 552 was hit by Flak on 13 May 1940 during a reconnaissance mission and came down in Nieuwkerken-Waas.
Lt. Paul Colpin (observer) and Adj. Jean Lux (pilot) were killed.
Adj. Robert Sacquepée (shooter) was seriously injured and died on transfer to hospital.
