Memorial 'Freedom Scene'

The monument depicts a domestic scene: a bench, a table lamp and a vase with 17 poppies on a high table. The 18th poppy is next to the vase. There is a poem on the bench. The 18 poppies refer to the British liberators who died. One of them is buried in Germany. The names of these victims are engraved in the lamp.
