Memorial Aviator Jose Blairon

Commemorative plaque in honor of Adjutant-Aviator José BLAIRON (1921-1942), born in Leval-Trahegnies. José BLAIRON was in the service of the RAF 350 Squadron and was shot down during an air battle on 9 May 1942 above Walcheren (Netherlands). He was rescued at sea by the RAF ASR but died of his wounds.
