Along McClellan Dr are several small memorial stones commemorating the following US military entities:
- The members of the 487th Bomb Group who were killed or missing in World War II.
This Unit was activated on September 22, 1943 and they initially flew B24 and from July 1944 B17 bombers and were based at Lavenham, Suffolk in England.
The unit was part of the 8th Air Force and consisted of 4 squadrons, the 836th, 837th, 838th and 839th Bombardment squadrons and flew a total of 185 sorties
- All Americans who served actively in China, India and Burma during World War II.
- All soldiers who served in the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment during World War II.
- The 96 Officers and soldiers of VB104 who fell during the war in the Pacific.
- The officers who fought in the world wars.
- The 1480 Airborne soldiers who fell from 1943 to 1945 during their service in Europe.
- The crews of the Australian light cruiser H.M.A.S. Perth and the heavy cruiser U.S.S. Houston that sank during a nighttime battle in the Sunda Strait. A total of 696 sailors of the U.S.S. Houston and 375 of the H.M.A.S. Perth including both captains. The survivors, 675, were captured by the Japanese.
- The soldiers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regimental Combat team who fought in Europe.
- The members of the 13th Airborne Division who served actively from August 13, 1943 until February 25, 1946.
- The members of the 82nd Airborne Division who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War from February 1968 to December 1969.
