War Memorial Deportees 1914-1918 Cemetery Binche

The German authorities deported 615 civilians of Binche. Of these, about 15 did not survive the deportation, while about a hundred others died in the following ten years. They were weakened or affected by diseases they contracted during their detention in the German labour camps.
