Corridor systems Widerstandsnest 67 HL

At the boulevard of Kijkduin there is a hidden tunnel system under the dunes. This was part of Widerstandsnest 67 HL.
The main part of this once huge complex has been demolished to make way for the current shopping center and nearby apartments. In the dunes behind the hotel, about a hundred meters of tunnel and the four bunkers that connect it have been preserved. This part of the complex housed the Flugwache, part of the German air force, whose task it was to detect enemy aircraft.

The Atlantic Museum Scheveningen Foundation has made access to the tunnels and bunkers possible again.
