In Deudesfeld, a village of 400 inhabitants, the war memorial stands in front of the Saint Simon and Judas Church, a cross with three plates next to it.
On the left are the names of the victims of the First World War, each with the year of birth and death. In the center and right are the names of the Second World War.
There are two bells in the church tower, a small bell from 1420 and a larger one from 1738.
Both were removed during World War II to be melted down, but this was not carried out. In 1948 they returned undamaged.
