Topovske Šupe Concentration Camp

At the time of World War II, concentration camp Topovske Šupe was located at this site. The camp, which was run by the Gestapo, aided by Serbian collaborators, was in use from August to December 1941. Of the 5,000 to 6,000 prisoners held here, 4,300 were murdered. The prisoners included Jews and alleged anti-fascists.

A few buildings remain of the camp in a neglected state. In memory of the past, there is only an information board and a plaque commemorating the Jewish victims.
