Type B casemate. These had a rectangular plan and on the front side a wall of 1.20 meters of reinforced concrete. They were more expensive, but also much safer because they were protected at the front by a "nose." Type B casemates were reinforced concrete flanking casemates with one heavy machine gun. Observation capabilities were very low, as the target had to be observed through the small embrasure. The door was equipped with a rifle embrasure.
