Widerstandsnest 205 Fort De Heu

Widerstandsnest 205, Fort de Heu or Batterie de Bretteville-bas was build in the 18th century in order to protect the harbour of Cherbourg. During world war 2, the fort was implemented into the Atlantikwall, they added an Regelbau 612 for a 75mm F.K, an R667 for 5cm KwK and at least 2 MG ringstands. The fort, with his bunkers, are now converted to a camping with mobil homes, so easy to visit.
