War Memorial 'The Ghost Army'

A historical marker in Brittany honoring the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, the World War II unit better known as The Ghost Army. They used inflatable tanks, sound effects and illusions to fool the Germans on the battlefields of Europe.
This marker commemorates Operation Brest, August 23-25, 1944.
