Mas De Maguelonne

Mas de Maguelonne, manned by elements of the 759. Grenadier-Regiment belonging to the 338. Infanterie-Division. This defensive position was raised to protect, against a possible allied landing at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the road towards the town of Arles.
Mas de Maguelonne ( as far as I know, not coded as a Widerstandsnest nor Stützpunkt ) consisted of a bunker R680 (Schartenstand für 7.5cm Pak 40 ohne Nebenräume), a Vf1a (Unterstand bis 6 Mann), a Vf51a (Halbgruppenunterstand), a FA Unterstand and a FA Pak Unterstand.
Some bunkers are located next to the main road D570 others are on private land.
