Fort Évegnée

Fort Évegnée is one of the twelve forts around Liège established for the defense of the Belgian city of Liège. The fort is located east of the city of Liège, northeast of the town of Évegnée in the municipality of Soumagne. The fortress is triangular in shape.

The fort had two observation posts, bunker FE 5 near Retinne (now demolished) and bunker EB 2 at Barchon. It is unclear whether this bunker still exists.
