Crash Site A-20G Havoc Sad Sack 43-10170
This location commemorates the crash of the A-20H Havoc Sad Sack. The Havoc was a twin-engine Allied aircraft. It was used for bombing and night reconnaissance missions.
During an attack on Germany, the aircraft was hit by Flak over Vogelsang and crashed. One crew member of the crew survived the crash, the other two were killed in the crash.
