Between St. Arnoldus Church and St. Arnoldus Chapel stands this memorial erected by the community and parish for the fallen victims from Arnoldsweiler. The memorial is surrounded by plaques with the names of perished victims of the following wars: 1864 German-Danish War, 1866 German-Austrian War, 1870/1871 German-French War, 1914-1918 First World War. On the memorial itself is the inscription, "Pray also for the dead of World War II 1939-45, but especially for those who died in the mainly Russian prisoner of war camp at Arnoldsweiler and for those who died in the attack on Düren on 16.11.44."
