Monument Honnorbrygga Oslo
Honnorbrygga is a monumental wharf in Oslo harbour built for receptions and representation. The original honour bridgee was built in 1887 and inaugurated when Emperor Wilhelm 11 of Germany visited Kristiania (Oslo) in 1890.
The present structure was begun in 1936 and completed early in the summer of 1940. The first time it was officially in use was on 7 June 1945 when the Norwegian Royal Family returned to Oslo onboard HMS Norfolk, 5 years to the day after they had been evacuated from Tromso
