This name stone commemorates the school that was founded in Wulvergem for the children of the front region, under the protection of the King and Queen.
The 25 'name stones’ were placed from 1984 to 1988 at important sites for the Belgian army in World War I where no memorials were still present. The memorial contains, next to the specific text, the coloured coat of arms of the province of West Flanders and the monogram of King Albert I.
