Memorial French Resitance Women Flossenbürg

This plaque on the wall at the arrestee building of Flossenbürg concentration camp commemorates three young French resistance women: Simone Michel-Levy (awarded the Ordre de la Libération), Hélène Lignier and Noémie Suchet. They were arrested in France and, via Ravensbrück concentration camp and Holleischen labor camp, were imprisoned in Flossenbürg on 11 April 1945, where they were executed on 13 April 1945, in the courtyard of the arresting building on charges of sabotage.
