Bunker Vi 9 Visé

This is bunker Vi 9 of the 17 bunkers in the sector of Visé (Vi).

The sector is part of de third line of defense (PFL 3) for the city of Liège.

It's the small type bunker. This bunker is located at the higher grounds of the town of Visé. From this position the Belgian Army had perfect view on the river valley of the Meuse. There is no wardamage on this bunker. Today it is in the middle of a residential area and serves as a playingfield.

The iron doors and shutters were removed after the war and sold as scrap.
