German Concrete Road National Park Kennemerland

A small part of a main road in the infrastructure around the Langerak and Olmen coastal batteries towards the IJmuiden fortress is still present. The photos concern the part of the road that originally connected to the Zeeweg near Bloemendaal aan Zee. This road was wider, with concrete segments next to each other. Asphalt was subsequently laid over a slightly more northern section.
The northern part of the road is covered by drifting sand ridges and, if still present, is in a non-accessible (No Access) area.
