Hiders Museum De Duikelaar

Resistance fighter Johannes Post brought Jewish persecuted people from Amsterdam to Nieuwlande in 1942 and placed them with family, friends and acquaintances
The number of Jewish people in hiding was so large that Nieuwlande was also known as "Drent's Jerusalem".

The museum tells the story of hiding and resistance in Nieuwlande in four themes:
1. Never show anyone the door.
2. Wanted.
3. Destination unknown.
4. We just did it.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
