Bunker PL 7 Visé

This is bunker PL 7 of the sector Pontisse-Lixhe in the 4th line PFL (la Position Fortifiée de Liège 4) of defense for the city of Liège. Although this bunker is located in the town of Visé, it's not a part of the PFL sector Visé. It belongs to fort Pontisse.

A bunker one would easyly walk by without knowing and noticing that the pillar is in fact a bunker, located at the bridge over the river Meuse; Pont du Roi Baudouin.

The bunkers line of defense was southward and northward. There were no gunopenings towards the river Meuse. The entrance of the bunker is at the shore. The shutters are removed and the openings are sealed with bricks. But the hinges still can be seen.

Also two of the drains for the shellcasings are still visible.
