Memorial to those who died in the world wars 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.
The rectangular base decorated with volutes supports the 2.50 meter high statue of the Archangel Michael as dragon slayer. The point of his longsword in his right hand stabs into Satan, who writhes beneath his feet. The Archangel Michael is the parish patron of Steffeln. The base and the statue are made of light tuff.
Inscription on the front of the base: "Steffeln are fallen heroes sons 1914-1918"; The names of 13 fallen soldiers are engraved on the sides. The "war memorial", inaugurated on February 29, 1920, is flanked by two approximately 1.90 m high stone tablets with the names of the 49 fallen soldiers of the Second World War.
