The Morschenich cemetery contains 22 German war graves. 21 from World War II and one from World War I. Next to the graves is a memorial with two plaques with names of victims of both World Wars. Some of these perished during the major bombing of Düren on Nov. 16, 1944. The memorial and graves were moved here in 2019 because the old village had to make way for lignite mining.
