War Memorial Bolland

Monument on the former communityhouse of Bolland in commemoration of those who fell, and one executed citizen, during the 1st Worldwar of the community of Bolland.

Being remembered

GEROMBOUX Olivier, age 24, corporal in the 9th line regiment, killed at Diksmuide on May 21st 1916.

CHAINEUX Pierre, age 25, soldier in the artillery of the Fortresse (garrison) de Liège, died of illness on February 22nd, 1917. He is buried in the cemetery near the church of Bolland.

MONSEUR Gilles, civilian victim, shot by the Germans

And a commemoration for the dedecated mayor of Bolland during the 1st Worldwar; Nicolas Hogge.
