The plaque in the police station, designed by P. van der Scheer and executed by Henk Etienne was erected in memory of three policemen of whom N.Th.M. Veerkamp and T. Kool died as a result of acts of war, and J. van der Sloot who died in the resistance.
On 10 May 1947, Kees van der Sloot, the son of J. v.d. Sloot, unveiled the plaque in the then police station on Oude Delft in Delft. In 1995, the plaque was moved with the new station on Jacoba van Beierenlaan.
Visits are only possible after permission from the desk officer on duty.
