War Memorial Gereonsweiler

Next to St. Gereon Church in Gereonsweiler stands this memorial that was originally intended to commemorate fallen soldiers from World War I. After World War II, a plaque was installed with the names of World War II victims. The statue probably represents St. Gereon, the patron saint of soldiers.
