Bunker CF 5 Fléron

Bunker CF 5 at Fléron.

It's the 5th bunker from the sector of Chaudfontaine-Fléron (CF) from de 2nd line of defense for the city of Liège (la Position Fortifiée de Liège, PFL 2). The bunker is part of the defense for the nearby fort Chaudfontaine and fort Fléron.

The bunker is located in a private plot in the backyard of a house. The bunker has two gunopenings. One for a 47 mm anti-tank canon, and one for a machinegun. Because of the iron plate in front of the left gunopening it coudl not be determenated in what condition this gunopening was.

Llike most bunkers in the PFL the iron shutters and doors were sold after the war as scrap.
