Place of Silence Augustinian Monastery

The Place of Silence under the library of the Augustinian Monastery is set up to commemorate the 267 victims buried alive in this basement during the British air raid on 25-2-1945. Only a girl and a dog survived the attack and were recovered alive from under the rubble.
