This red sandstone monument commemorates Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg resistance fighters murdered by the Nazis. The work by sculptor Wener Richter was unveiled in 1979. The four inverted triangles symbolize the colored emblems concentration camp prisoners were forced to wear on their camp uniforms.
The German text reads: Zum gedenken an die vom Faschismus ermordeten Widerstandskämpfer Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
