Bloc O Fort Tancrémont

Bloc O is located several 100 meters from the fort.

The bloc has an observation turret with extandable periscope (on top in the middle of the turret). The other armoured turret was an extandable air intake -unit. This unit was controlled with a system of pulleys, cables and counterweights. The air intake- unit would be used mainly through the night. Throughout combat actions this would be an easy target. The unit could be extended 18 m.

This bloc contains the emergency-exit (invisible under the surface of the concrete) of the fort.

To the south bloc P is located. This bunker also was equipped with an observation turret and an expandable air intake unit.
