Belgian War Graves Bellevaux

There are several war graves at the Bellevaux cemetery.

NICOLAS Eugène was a soldier with the 2nd Ardennes Hunters 3rd Bat. 9th Comp.
He was killed on May 19, 1940 in Mespelare during German attempts to cross the Dender between Gijzegem and Oudegem.
He was 28 years old.

GOURMET Benjamin was a sub-lieutenant with the 3rd Ardennes Jagers 1st Bat. 3rd Comp.
He was killed in Chabrehez (Les Tailles) on May 10, 1940, in the afternoon of the first day of the 18-day campaign. He was 25 years old.
He was killed by a bullet during contact with German armor from the 7th Armored Division.

SENSIQUE Albert was a sergeant with the 5th Ardennes Hunters.
He was taken prisoner of war and died in the Neuengamme camp on December 31, 1944. He was 28 years old.
