The grave of Roger FONCK is located in the cemetery of Hamipré.
He was a soldier in the 20th Ardennes Hunters Artillery Regiment.
In the first days of the war he was captured during the defense
of the Albert Canal.
After a period of captivity, he returned home sick, where he died as a result of his captivity. He was 28 years old.
