Belgian War Graves Tournay

The Tournay cemetery contains the war graves of:

Maurice BOSSICART,soldier 5th Ardennes Hunters 3rd Bat 7th Comp.
On May 24, 1940 he was seriously injured in Deinze in the Kouter zone up to the intersection of Aaltersesteenweg and Wakkense Heirweg in the 2nd echelon along the Schipdonk Canal.
On May 25, he died in the hospital in Roeselare from the injuries sustained.
He was 23 years old.

Louis URBAIN was a political prisoner in the Neuengamme camp. He died in Nordhausen on December 5, 1944. He was 23 years old.

René URBAIN was a prisoner of war in the German concentration camp Stalag 1A.
After his liberation from Stalag 1A, he was killed by a Russian soldier in Königsberg on April 8, 1945. He was 25 years old.
