Memorial Wenduine

There is a memorial plaque for the victims of the Cross in the Cross Exaltation Church in Wenduine first World War.

In the center we see the image of a crucified Christ.

On the left are the names of the victims with date of death:

On the right is the text:
"Their memory will remain in blessing for they regarded it as one exalted virtue to live, work or fight and die for the fatherland.
May God reward their sacrifice with heavenly reward and their immortal souls
let us see the splendor of his glory.
Rest in peace"
