On the right bank of the Meuse, at the entrance to the old Yvoir bridge that was blown up on May 12, 1940, there is a memorial.
It pays tribute to the action of the 1st Battalion of the 5th Regiment of Ardennes Hunters at this location during the first days of the Second World War.
Next to the emblem is the text:
"May 10-12
1940
1ST BON.
5ME RGT. HUNTERS
ARDENNES"
