The cemetery of Flémalle contains a monument commemorating the fallen soldiers of the 1st and 2nd World Wars from the town of Flémalle (Liège).
The monument lists 16 soldiers killed in the 1st World War, as well as 2 civilians killed by acts of war committed by the Germans.
It also lists 17 soldiers who died in the 2nd World War.
On the inside of the entrance building, another 29 civilians are commemorated who perished during the 2nd World War.
Around the memorial are several personal memorials as mementos by the families to honour their father, husband, son or brother.

Of particular note is the personal memorial stone to THIRY Achille, born in Ivoz-Ramet (located next to Flémalle), member of the Belgian Aid Society for Morgantown (USA), he died in Langemark on September 28th, 1918 at the age of 29.
They are also commemorated on the monument at the stéles at the former school of of Rametivoz.
