DELAGE Yves, 24 years old,
on August 16, 1944"

Sainte-Foy was liberated from the Nazi yoke on August 18, 1944.
Two days earlier, on Wednesday, August 16, 5 maquisards were shot dead
during confrontations with the German occupiers.
This happened at 4 locations in the city.
In the Rue des Frères-Reclus where Yves Delage was murdered, there is a memorial plaque between a some plants on the sideway.
