Memorial Oude Rijkweg-Conradsweg

On 3 October 2023, a memorial (in the style of a Stumbling Block) was placed at the corner of Oude Rijksweg and Conradsweg to commemorate the Conrad Jewish Labour Camp that was located approximately at this site.

The text on the stone reads:

"WE REMEMBER YOU 2/3 OCTOBER 1943".

This text is also affixed in Hebrew.

The date of 3 October 2023 has a historical background. On that day, it was exactly 80 years since the Jewish Labour Camps were evacuated.
