Memorial General Maurice Rose

There is a monument in front of the Capitol in Denver in the Lincoln Veterans Memorial park that commemorates General Maurice Rose.
General Maurice Rose was born in Colorado to a Jewish family and was killed in action near Paderborn on March 30, 1945. He is the highest fallen American soldier in Europe and he is buried in Margraten at the Margraten American Military Cemetery.

This monument was inaugurated during Memorial Day in 2023.
