Memorial US Navy Armed Guard World War II
At the Ft Logan military cemetery there is a monument that commemorates the Armed Guard of the US Navy.
The Armed Guard were naval personnel stationed on merchant ships to fire the deck guns.
A total of 1810 sailors who fulfilled this function died.
